Editorial Standards

Independence

MAGAZINIX publishes independent editorial content. Editorial decisions — what we cover, when we cover it, and how we frame it — are made by the editorial team without influence from advertisers, subjects, or partners.

How we choose stories

We publish fewer stories on purpose. A story enters the magazine only when it has an argument worth an hour of a reader's time — creativity, culture, entrepreneurship, film, AI, design, technology and the quiet work of being human. We prefer depth to speed, and quality to volume.

How we treat sources

Interviews are conducted on the record unless otherwise agreed. Quotations are checked with speakers for accuracy, not for approval. Facts are verified against primary sources wherever possible; where a claim cannot be independently confirmed, we say so plainly in the text.

External articles and linked publications

MAGAZINIX regularly cites, links to and re-publishes summaries of external articles, interviews, press releases and third-party publications. Responsibility for that content rests with its original publishers. Opinions expressed by contributors, interviewees or external publications do not necessarily reflect the views of MAGAZINIX or XINI8 Media LLC.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction on the page. Corrections can be requested at info@xini8.com.

Why we work this way

There is more information every day and less attention to spend on it. Our answer is to publish slowly, on purpose — a smaller number of well-considered pieces, produced by people who wanted them to be good. That is the standard we hold ourselves to.
