"That's one small step..."
Six hours after landing, Armstrong descended the ladder of the Eagle. His first words, transmitted to 650 million people watching on Earth, were nearly lost to a click of static in the middle. He always maintained he said "one small step for a man." Audio analysis suggests he was right.
